Terms of Use

By accessing or using the Rupert Fund Finder platform ("Platform") at rupertinvest.co.za, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Rupert Invest (Pty) Ltd ("Rupert", "we", "us"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

Rupert Fund Finder is an independent fund matching and information platform. We provide: - A questionnaire-based tool that matches users with South African investment funds based on their stated preferences and risk profile - A searchable database of promoted South African investment funds - Fund information including category, risk rating, and asset manager details IMPORTANT: Rupert is NOT a licensed Financial Services Provider (FSP) under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act 37 of 2002 ("FAIS"). We do not provide personalised financial advice. The fund matches generated by our platform are based solely on the information you provide and algorithmic matching — they are not financial recommendations. Nothing on this Platform constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult a licensed financial advisor before making any investment decision.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to: - Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration - Maintain the security of your password and account - Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account - Not share your account credentials with any other person - Not create more than one account per person You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Rupert offers the following access tiers: Basic (Free): Limited access to fund matching results and the fund database. Standard (R99/month): Full access to fund matching results and the complete fund database. Pro (R299/month): Full access plus advanced features including data export and comparison tools. Payments are processed securely by PayFast (Pty) Ltd. By subscribing, you authorise recurring monthly charges until you cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no refunds are issued for partial months. Rupert reserves the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice.

You agree not to: - Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose - Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems - Scrape, copy, or reproduce our fund database or matching algorithm - Use automated tools to access the Platform without our consent - Misrepresent your identity or provide false information - Use the Platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it - Attempt to reverse-engineer our matching algorithm or software Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to our matching algorithm, fund database compilation, user interface, text, graphics, and branding, is the property of Rupert Invest (Pty) Ltd and is protected by South African copyright law. Fund names, logos, and factual fund data remain the property of their respective asset managers. We do not claim ownership of third-party fund information. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our Platform content without our prior written consent.

Fund information on our Platform is sourced from publicly available data and asset manager disclosures. While we make reasonable efforts to keep information current and accurate, we do not guarantee that information is complete, accurate, or up to date. Fund sizes, fees, minimum investment amounts, and platform availability change frequently. Always verify fund details directly with the asset manager or on the relevant investment platform before investing. We are not liable for any investment decisions made based on information obtained from our Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Rupert Invest (Pty) Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for: - Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform - Investment losses resulting from decisions informed by our fund matching output - Inaccuracies in fund data - Service interruptions or technical failures - Unauthorised access to your account data Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Our Platform may link to third-party websites, investment platforms, or asset manager sites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of third-party sites. Clicking such links is at your own risk.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
